Do you have what it takes to become government contractor?



Whether or not you are self-certified or having some professional firm like us combined 40 years of Federal business experiences to assist with your 8A application; you might want to think about the followings;
1) Can I or my firm be qualified? Is my firm a small business?
2) What should I do after I get certified?
3) Each certification you have received did not guarantee you will get the government contract that has clarity stated in your welcome letter from any government agencies.
4) What is your business plan? Government wants to know if you know how to manage your business. Before your business plan is approved, you are not able to obtain any contract.
5) Do you know in certain business that contracting officers are no longer the main control of handing you over your contract? Those building relationship would not work here, period.
6) Do you have enough cash flow to run government projects once you obtain one?
7) Do you know 90% of government projects are green? Is your firm ready for green project?
A lot of things you might want to think before you act on. Without sweat, determination, hard work there is no free lunch in government work. I always advised my clients and look ahead and set a goal where they can reach not try to go overboard. 9 years you can grow big like others; but you could also remain the same like you were just before.
